Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband LV Bayern, Hosting & Coordinating Organisation tedesca con sede a Monaco di Baviera, sta cercando 2 volontari per un progetto del Servizio Volontario Europeo (2011-DE-39) che si terra' in un'area rurale della Baviera a partire da inizio settembre. 

Il progetto durera' 11 mesi.

Requisiti fondamentali richiesti ai volontari per questo progetto:
eta' compresa tra i 18 e i 25 anni e conoscenza della lingua tedesca (oltre che dell'inglese).

PROJECT ENVIRONMENT
The youth care center castle niedernfels is located in the Achental (Achen valley) in the bavarian alps on the south of the chiemsee (largest lake in bavaria), one of the most beautifulest holiday and recreation areas of germany. The local area is rurally-traditionaly orientated and with an extremly high recreational value. Next to the campus of castle niedernfels "hochplatten chair lift" is located. Hikers, cilmbers, skier and snowboarder, sailors and wind surfers, naturelovers- all will find in the direct surroundings ideal conditions for their activities. The youth care center itself was formerly an old convent, which is located a bit outside the village center. Shopping facilities, doctors, restaurants, pubs and other leisure facilities are located in the village center of Marquartstein - about 20 min by foot.

This project is situated in a rural area which is very nice for free-time activities, especially for sports. The volunteers must enjoy living in a rural area. Public transport to other villages is only available with school buses or on weekends. Contact to other volunteers and young people in Munich can be set up. The youth care center castle niedernfels has different buildings and is equipped with a variety of recreation rooms such as gymnasium, pottery room, a music studio, etc. and generous sports facilities. The youth care center castle niedernfels is a organisation for educational systems in order to support children, youth and young adults in offering them a flexible variety of help for their education and development The centre of our work are these young people as outstanding individual persons with their own personality, their resources and their neediness.We accompany, support and assist young people in their development for their emotional, social cognitive, motoric and creative capabilities.

This is practised by the pedagogical intervention and therapeutic offers on the basis of individual helping plans and our conceptions. We make sure that the young people take part at relevant decisions.Not only the children and youth that we take care for, but also the pedagogical staff and the volunteers should have the opportunity for a cultural exchange, to get in touch with the idea of Europe and international understanding. That's why the Niedernfels castle offers several projects within different groups of the house: - Department childrens home/ boarding school: Group "Moewe Jonathan": The Group "Moewe Jonathan" is a therapeutic paedagogical orientated group for 12 children in the age of primary school. The target group are children who need more support than ambulatory or parcial in patient measurements. Often these are children with difficulties at school, within the familiy or development based problems.

Group "Tigerente": The Group "Tigerente" is a therapeutic paedagogical orientated group exclusivly for girls in the age of 10 to 17 years. The girls stay there because of difficulties in their family system, school deficits or development based problems. Group "Sternenzelt": In the group "Sternenzelt" there are in particular teenagers in age of 13 to 15 years. Some of them go to school outside the campus niedernfels. The teenagers are in the group "sternenzelt" because of difficulties in their familiy system, school deficits or development based problems. Partly the teenagers became too old for the children groups and need more latitude. Group "Zauberdrachen": The group "Zauberdrachen" is a therapeuic paedagogical orientated group especially for boys which is located in the old castle. The target group are boys with parcial performance dysfuncitions or boys who can´t live in their families because of individual problems. Group "Regenbogen": The group "Regenbogen" is a boarding school group where children und teenagers at an age of 10-17 years from monday to friday stay. Besides homework there are a lot of leisure activities going on there. - Remedial day care centre ("Heilpädagogische Tagesstätte - HPT"): The day care centre is a partial in-patient therapeutic pedagogical place for 8 children with behavioural problems. The children go home in the afternoon.Target group of the day care centre are children, who are mentally ill or are about to become ill, which means, children with a general mental development delay, partial productive power, linguistic problems, motorical deficits, little power of endurance, high distraction, autistical tendencies, from families due to unemployment, partner problems, financial indebtedness, psychical or physical illness, emotional or physical neglect.

PROPOSED ACTIVITIES
The volunteers are integrated in the daily work schedule of the respective groups, however the volunteers won't do any routine work. In addition, the pedagogical staff supports the volunteers at any time. It is important that the volunteers get to know the daily work of the respective group. The volunteer could do, for instance, the following jobs: - assist pupil's homework, play with children in the afternoon (sports, football etc.), cook with the youngster, accompany the youngsters on excursions, accompany the youngsters to the authorities or to the doctors, etc. According to the Youth Care Center Niedernfels it is rather important that the volunteers get as much time as possible for their own ideas to start and realize their projects once they have become familiar with it. The possibilities of activities inside the house are multi various, so there are almost no limits for the volunteer's fantasies and skills regarding musical, designing sporting and cultural projects. The team members are very open minded and will support the volunteer's ideas in helping to realize them in a pedagogical sense. The team members want the volunteer to introduce his own culture in the daily work: e.g. typical customs of the volunteers home countries just like music, dance, food and of course the language, the volunteer's mother tongue. Projects that are extended over a longer period are possible and therefore the volunteer could work out a project according to his/her skills, talents and interests. Such an engagement will be very much appreciated

CRITERIA
The volunteers should have experience and fun in consorting with children and/or younsters. German language skills are helpful, so that the volunteers get an easy contact to the children they look after. The volunteers shoul be at least 18 years The volunteers must enjoy living in a rural area. Contact to other volunteers and young people in Munich can be set up. The organization responsible for this establishment is the Catholic church. It is expected of the volunteers that they are tolerant towards the Catholic faith. Group "Tigerente": The volunteer must be female.

Heimvolksschule Schloss Niedernfels Marquartstein (Germany) HOST ORGANISATION Aims of the youth care center Schloss Niedernfels: - We accompany, support and assist young people in their development for their emotional, social cognitive, motoric and creative capabilities. - There are about 85 employees working in the facility separated in a private, governmental admitted primary and secondary school (300 pupils), a after-school club, two therpeutic daycenters and a childrenshome department with space for 65 pupils.
